Reflections on the Door landscape in the season of silence seldom experienced by visitors.  The language of snow.  The community of friends and neighbors who know Door is the place to be, come winter.  This, the favorite book of recently-deceased author Norbert Blei, is a perfect, small size to carry.  It's the best gift-book for Door County lovers.  Winter spoke to Blei, who read the white landscape and told the stories of the season of "nothing happening."  Note the dust jacket, which is a wrap-around copy of an original by noted Door County artist Charles Peterson.  Winter Book is 184 pp.
